NXT UK recently completed two nights of tapings in Hull, England.
Coming out of these tapings, several matches were made for the newly announced NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool event for January of next year.
As of right now, the current card features two championship matches and a grudge match.
NXT UK Tag Team Championship Ladder Match
Gallus (c) vs. Imperium vs. South Wales Subculture vs. Grizzled Young Veterans
NXT UK Women's Championship Triple Threat Match
Kay Lee Ray (c) vs. Piper Niven vs. Toni Storm
Trent Seven vs. Eddie Dennis
They're also heavily building to a WWE United Kingdom Championship match which would see WALTER defend against Joe Coffey. This past January, the inaugural TakeOver: Blackpool event saw the debut of WALTER, who laid out Coffey following Coffey's unsuccessful attempt to wrestle the WWE United Kingdom title belt away from Pete Dunne.
One year later, Coffey aims for vengeance. Now, faction warfare and friction between Coffey's Gallus triad and the WALTER-led Imperium casts a shadow over this potential match.
Per @WalterAUT, if Gallus can defend their tag titles against Imperium (later tonight) AND if @UNBESIEGBAR_ZAR can step up to @TheWWEWolfe in a no-DQ match, the main event of TakeOver: Blackpool will be WALTER vs. Joe Coffey. #NXTUK pic.twitter.com/OdTaeQ01Ne— Dei Owen (@DeiOwen) November 16, 2019

NXT TakeOver: Blackpool II takes place on January 12, 2020. Live from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England on WWE Network.
