D-Von Dudley: The Dudley Boyz Are Done, RIP

Don't expect to see Bubba Ray and D-Von reunite.

The Dudley Boyz haven't teamed together since 2016 with D-Von currently serving as a producer with WWE and Bubba Ray hosting Busted Open Radio while working for ROH before the pandemic.

While fans might be holding out hope that the two will get back together in some capacity, D-Von says it's time to move on from the Dudley Boyz.

"The Dudleyz are done. It's over. It was a good run, but I think we should move on and leave the Dudleyz alone. Rest in peace, Dudley Boyz," he said on JOFO In The Ring.

The Dudley Boyz are one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling history as former ECW Tag Team Champions, IWGP Tag Team Champions, TNA Tag Team Champions, NWA Tag Team Champions, WWE Tag Team Champions, and WCW Tag Team Champions.

The Dudleyz final WWE run took place in 2015 - 2016 where they worked with a variety of tag teams including New Day, The Usos, and the Wyatt Family. Their feud with the Wyatt Family kicked off after a Twitter beef between Luke Harper (Brodie Lee) and Bubba.

"I forgot who told me, it was Harper or Bray, that they decided to use 3-D," recalled D-Von. "I was like, 'You know Bubba is gonna call, right?' Sure enough, they hit 3-D and I think Harper put something on his Twitter and then Bubba responded and they had a Twitter thing going on. All of a sudden, we found out we were coming back and we had a run with the Wyatt Family."

The Dudleyz were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.

Elsewhere during the interview, D-Von updated fans on his health after suffering a stroke recently. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
