Dakota Kai (Charlie) Open To Joining AEW Or TNA

Charlie (Dakota Kai in WWE) is set to make her return to the ring at EVE Wrestle Queendom against AEW Women’s Champion Kris Statlander on March 8.

Kai has not wrestled since March 2025. She was released by WWE in May and has not been back in the ring.

Speaking to Dave LeGreca & Nic Nemeth on Busted Open, Kai was asked if she has thought about joining AEW or TNA in the future.

“Once I get back into it, [TNA and AEW] and so many more have people that I would love to face in the ring. I haven’t really pinpointed it to any particular thing, I just think once I do this match and get the wheels turning, wherever my path may lead, I’m open to it completely,” she said.
