Dakota Kai has been released by WWE.
Fightful has confirmed that Dakota Kai has been released by WWE.
Kai hasn't wrestled on television since the March 17th episode of WWE Raw when she defeated Ivy Nile. Kai was in Las Vegas and doing media for WrestleMania weekend, but did not appear on either show.
She posted on April 29th that she missed wrestling and was not hurt.

Kai signed with WWE in 2016, but was released in April 2022. She was brought back in July 2022, returning at WWE SummerSlam 2022 to form Damage CTRL.
Kai is a former two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion and two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion.
