Bad Bunny would appear on Miz TV with The Miz and John Morrison, where he introduced Priest.

Priest laid out The Miz with a forearm and Morrison wisely left the ring before any damage was done. The incident led to an immediate match with The Miz. Priest was victorious in the bout, scoring the pinfall with The Reckoning. The match also saw Bad Bunny get involved as he hit Morrison with his pink microphone after handing Morrison the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Priest made his main roster debut at WWE Royal Rumble when he entered at number 14 and scored four eliminations before he was eliminated by Bobby Lashley after lasting just over 15 minutes. Priest is a former NXT North American Champion who last wrestled for the gold brand at NXT New Year's Evil, where he was defeated by Karrion Kross.

Priest was reportedly set to debut on the January 1 WWE SmackDown as part of the Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns feud. However, those plans were reportedly nixed.
