Dana White comments on if he’s a fan of WWE.
Once Endeavor would purchase WWE in 2023, the company would combine the UFC and WWE into TKO, leaving Dana White, the UFC president, to work side by side with WWE higher ups. While White has attended several WWE shows in the past, he maintains that the sport is not his thing.
While speaking on the latest episode of Impaulsive, Dana White was asked by Logan Paul about his attending of WrestleMania earlier this year.
“Yeah, I was blown away. First of all, I mean, selling out, you know, the Allegiant stadium, at that time, you guys had the biggest gate in Allegiant history, which is huge. I mean, the Super Bowl was there and everything else. We just beat you with Canelo Crawford. Yeah, it’s impressive.”
Logan would then ask Dana if he is a fan and if he watches WWE, with White confirming that he does not watch it.
“Yeah, I’m not a fan. I don’t watch WWE. I don’t watch it. It’s not- so I’m into fighting, man. That’s what I do. You know how, when you go on Instagram and then you go on your search page, my whole search page is like street fights and that, that’s what I’m into. I am definitely- I respect the athleticism it takes. I told you (Logan Paul) when you first started doing it, I said, ‘man, you’re a hell of an athlete.’ You’re good. Yeah, it’s impressive to see what these guys do. It’s just not my thing. When I was younger, I liked it.”
Last month, Dana had comments about independent pro wrestlers breaking their bodies by going through ladders. You can read more about that here.
