AEW has had plenty of crossover with MMA recently with American Top Team's Dan Lambert leading the Men of the Year into battle.
MMA fighters Jorge Masvidal, Amanda Nunes, Junior dos Santos, and Andrei Arlovski have appeared on AEW television during Lambert's run.
Speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom's Basement, UFC President Dana White said he hasn't seen Lambert's or ATT's involvement on AEW, but he hopes the best for the promotion.
"I didn't know(about Lambert on AEW), but I'm very close to the owners [Shad & Tony Khan] of that organization. They are awesome people. [Tony] and his dad are very good people and I wish them all the success in the world. Good for them," he said
AEW wrestlers attended UFC 261 in Jacksonville and Tony Khan has spoken of his friendship with Dana White and not wanting to run AEW events against UFC pay-per-views.
Lambert will corner Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page on AEW Rampage Grand Slam against Chris Jericho & Jake Hager. Fightful will have live coverage of the event beginning at 10 p.m. ET on Friday.
