Danhausen speaks on if he was surprised by the fan support he has received in WWE since making his debut at Elimination Chamber earlier this year.
At the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event earlier this year, Danhausen would make his WWE debut and has become a fan favorite ever since. At Backlash, he would team with a miniature version of himself to take on the Miz and Kit Wilson, coming away with the victory.
While speaking on the WWE Backlash post-show, Danhausen was asked about his recent swelling of fan support and if he was surprised.
“No, I always thought I was great. I am great, and I’ll continue to be great!”
Danhausen also answered if he expected his clone to be taller, talking about the positives of having a mini Danhausen in the ring with him at Backlash.
“Well, as you saw, I thought he would be a couple of inches taller. However, I think it gave us the advantage because when Miz threw his clothesline, he tripped, which was a nice little benefit there, and I don’t think that would have happened had he been taller.”
