Danhausen Opens Up About His Time In AEW

Danhausen comments on his time in AEW.

For several years, Danhausen was under contract to All Elite Wrestling. He wrapped up with the company and then, at the 2026 Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, he made his WWE debut.

He commented on his time with AEW while sitting down with Peter Rosenberg for a recording of Cheap Heat. Rosenberg stated that he saw Danhausen a lot in AEW, and Danhausen interjected and said no he didn’t.

He added that he was doing a lot of social media-related things, and it made it seem like he was around. Danhausen said he was on the independents more.

“Maybe three or four (times I wrestled in AEW).” Rosenberg said he did not miss that much of Danhausen, and the current WWE talent replied, “No!” Rosenberg then said he saw Danhausen a lot in AEW, and Danhausen responded, “No, you didn’t. You definitely did not. You saw me online a lot. Perception is reality. Danhausen would do vlogs backstage on his own and do videos with his enemies and his friendhausens, and he’d put those out there so maybe it seemed like I was doing more than I was. I was not there. I was doing the independent scenes. That’s what I was doing. About three a weekend or doing conventions and some sort like New York Comic Con and things like that.”

Danhausen made his WWE in-ring debut on the 4/10 Friday Night SmackDown and scored a win over Kit Wilson in singles competition.
