Danhausen Reflects On Crowd Reaction He Received At WWE Elimination Chamber: “It Was Thunderous Applause”
Danhausen looks back at his WWE debut.
The 2026 WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event featured the debut of Danhausen. For weeks, a crate was delivered to both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, and it was written on the crate that it should not be opened until Elimination Chamber.
Danhausen came out of the crate in Chicago, Illinois, and was met with a mix of boos and cheers. The close of his debut segment was met with boos from the audience.
After making appearances on Raw and SmackDown, Danhausen guest appeared on Raw Recap. He was asked about the reaction to him at the aforementioned PLE and stated that he received ‘thunderous applause.’
“Oh, it was thunderous applause. It was great. I came out and they yelled, ‘Yes! Finally, Danhausen has arrived,’ and I could hear each and every one of them hop off their seats and get up and applaud, and say, ‘Up yours, Dracula. Danhausen did it first,’ because Danhausen shipped himself in a crate across the seas first but it was to WWE. It was not the Last Voyage of the Demeter or whatever it’s called.”
Danhausen has been cursing certain talents backstage. He cursed Dominik Mysterio, and Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship that same night. On the 3/9 Raw, Danhausen cursed the Original El Grande Americano, and he was not able to compete in his advertised match on the show.
