Danhausen Requests A One Day Contract With The New York Knicks

Danhausen wants to retire a champion with the New York Knicks.
Though he never officially played in a game, Danhausen was arguably the MVP of the New York Knicks on their way to their first NBA Championship since 1973.
Danhausen cursed the Knicks in the first round and they fell behind the Atlanta Hawks, 2-1. He uncursed them after Game 3, and the Knicks went on to win 15 of their next 16 to secure the championship.
Danhausen was part of the ESPN broadcast for multiple games throughout the playoffs and Finals.
On social media, he requested a one day contract with the team.
“Danhausen is requesting a one day contract with The KNICKSHAUSEN so he may retire from basketball’s as a champion of the world,” he wrote.
