In a post on Twitter/X, a fan posted side-by-side pictures of Danhausen and Stardust and noted that they used to resemble each other. Danhausen responded by noting that Stardust was his cousin.

Danhausen signed with AEW in January 2022. In recent months, he has been active on the independent scene. He competed at OTT ScrapperMania VIII on August 10 and defeated Renzo Rose to win the OTT No Limits Championship. He has also competed for PROGRESS and Limitless Wrestling in recent weeks.
