Danhausen Says He Has No Interest In Signing With WWE

At AEW Dynamite Beach Break 2022 on January 26, Danhausen officially became All Elite when he was found under the ring during a Lights Out match between Orange Cassidy and Adam Cole.

Danhausen had built a following on the independent scene due to his character who cursed people, enjoyed collecting teeth, wanted all the monies (and a blimp) and was generally very nice, but also very evil.

In a New York Times profile, Danhausen told author Dan Brooks "he had no interest in signing with WWE."

Danhausen has been a regular on AEW television since joining the company, appearing alongside Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta), and sticking to the persona that got him signed.

“I like to take people’s presentation once it’s gotten over, once it’s gotten popular and been accepted,” Tony Khan said. "If you find people that have gotten over with a smaller, hard-core audience, often if you give them a chance on national television, the hard-core audience will vouch for them.”

Arguably the top moment for Danhausen in 2022 was the formation of HOOKhausen with Danhausen aligning with the stoic and more serious HOOK for a partnership.

"A very smart person suggested it to me," said Khan without giving away who gave him the idea.

Danhausen most recently wrestled at AEW Full Gear Zero Hour when he teamed with Orange Cassidy, the Best Friends, & Rocky Romero to defeat The Factory (Aaron Solo, Cole Karter, Lee Johnson, Nick Comoroto & QT Marshall).
