Dani Luna: If I Got To Pick An Opponent From The Entire WWE, The Top One Would Be Lyra Valkyria

Dani Luna spoke about what WWE stars she would like to step into the ring with as part of their partnership with TNA.

Luna is currently a member of the TNA roster, but previously featured as part of WWE NXT UK, where she shared a roster with Lyra Valkyria and more current WWE stars. For Luna, she still wants to face off with the likes of Lyra.

While speaking to WhatCulture in a new interview, Dani Luna spoke about who she wanted to face in WWE, noting that Lyra Valkyria is top of that list.

“The top one, if I got to pick from the entire company, more from a personal standpoint, would be Lyra Valkyria. Because we were in NXT UK together and we’re very good friends. Obviously she’s just kind of taken over the world, and I think she’s one of the best wrestlers in the world. So to be able to do the dance with her would be my guilty choice. But NXT-wise… I do think, you know, the division there is so, so stacked at the moment. Like you said, between Blake Monroe, a fellow Brit, or maybe I should try and, you know, have him on side a little bit, and I’ve got no heat with Zaria for, you know, doing the job when there was an opportunity. It would have been awesome if she’d have ended up winning the title. I would have loved to have wrestled her for it. I feel like that would have been really awesome. But no, I think there’s so many fantastic, talented girls there. I was really sad I didn’t get a chance to wrestle Kelani while she was over here as well. I felt like we could have had a really fun match too.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Luna reflected on visa issues preventing her from competing at TNA Genesis. You can read more about that here.
