Dani Luna recalls a tough time in her professional wrestling career.
At the backend of 2021, Luna would tear her ACL and just months later, she would be released from her WWE contract at just 22 years old.
While speaking to Dania Luna noted that this time period of her wrestling career was the toughest time period so far.
“Good question, I guess it’s circumstantial. I think personally I tore my ACL at the end of 2021 and yeah, I was like, 22 years old, I was signed to the WWE at the time. Then in about two or three months, you know, I tore my ACL, got released from the WWE. So I had no job and no knees, and it was a pretty tough time. You know, I had to get a real person job again. I kind of had to start all over again between like learning to walk and then learning to wrestle. It was a bit of a journey, but I do think it has very much made me the wrestler that I am now, and made me have more gratefulness for the wrestling that I do get to do now, and the fact that I get to go out there every week and travel the world is so much more of a sweet feeling because it was taken away. You never know how much of what I am doing now I would be doing if I hadn’t been forced to stop.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Dani spoke about wanting to face off with WWE’s Lyra Valkyria. You can read more about that here.
