Daniel Bryan Apologizes For Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler Not Main Eventing No Mercy

To say the bout order for WWE No Mercy was strange would be an understatement.

A pre-show match got moved to the main card, the world title kicked off said main card, and a match with no stakes headlined the show. Last night on Talking Smack, WWE Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan said he thought things should have been a little different.

"I apologize because I thought Randy (Orton) and Bray (Wyatt) also deserved to be in the main event, but you guys deserve to be in that spot," said Bryan to Ziggler.

The apology was brought on when Bryan told Ziggler that one night, the two could end up main eventing a pay per view. Ziggler's retort was "One of those days should have been today."

Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon said that conversation was 'noted' for future considerations.
