Daniel Bryan Says Big E, Xavier Woods And The Fans Cannot Knock Down Doors For Kofi Kingston

Daniel Bryan wants everyone to know that Kofi has to do it on his own.

After a total of eleven years as a part of WWE, Kofi Kingston is getting his first singles match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 at MetLife Stadium this coming Sunday. Kofi will be battling the current champion Daniel Bryan who in storyline has been doubting Kofi from the moment that Kofi almost captured the title back at 'Elimination Chamber'.

The stars of WWE are speaking with the media in New York, New Jersey and all over to promote WrestleMania and Daniel Bryan recently chatted with Sky Sports. Bryan was in-character for this interview and told the site that Xavier Woods, Big E and the fans no matter how loud or consistently they chant Kofi Kingston's name, will not be able to get him over that proverbial hump.

“Do you know what you need to do to be at the top at WWE? You know what you need to do to get to the top? The same thing I did. You have to knock down doors, and Kofi Kingston has been sitting there, waiting outside that door for eleven years and Xavier Woods, no matter how smart he is, he can’t knock down that door for him, and Big E, no matter how strong he is, he can’t knock down that door for him and all these people who chant, ‘Kofi, Kofi, Kofi’, they can’t knock down that door for him and if he hasn’t done it after eleven years, he’s certainly not gonna do it on Sunday.” Bryan expressed.
