Daniel Bryan sees a few wrestlers at NXT he would like to have on Smackdown.
At Ringside Fest 2016, The Smackdown General Manager spoke with Ringside Collectibles about the talent on NXT's roster. Bryan named a few wrestlers he wants to draft to Smackdown Live -- namely ones who made their name predominately outside of WWE.
"I would love to have Nakamura. Just because: I roomed with him for a long time, not a long time, a short time actually. But, I've known him for a long time. And Samoa Joe because I've known him for a long time too. But, there's so many great people down there (at NXT). Their women's champion Asuka is really good, I love Austin Aries, Bobby Rhodes is really good. There's so many good guys down there it's hard to pick," said Bryan.
NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura's name came up again when Bryan was asked about the very slim chance of reappearing in a WWE wrestling match. Bryan went over several people he would like to get in the ring with again.
"I don't think WWE would ever let me do another match. It would be hard to say which one person I would want to wrestle because there are so many people. Between Nakamura and AJ Styles and guys who have come up to WWE since I've been gone like Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, guys I've known for a long time. Even somebody I've wrestled multiple times in WWE like Cesaro, I'd love to wrestle him again," said Bryan.
Bryan would also talk about his soon-to-be-born child, life as General Manager and James Ellsworth with Ringside Collectibles.
Smackdown Live airs Tuesdays at 8pm on USA Network.
