Dann Read: Pro Wrestling EVE Does Better When Kay Lee Ray Is With Us

Dann Read says that Pro Wrestling EVE does better when Kay Lee Ray is part of the promotion’s roster, also noting it makes for a better locker room.

Since exiting the WWE earlier this year, Kay Lee Ray has returned to the independent scene in the UK, and has appeared at multiple Pro Wresting EVE events, becoming a staple of the all women’s promotion.

While speaking to Fightful’s In The Weeds in a new interview, Dann Read of Pro Wrestling EVE would speak on the impact Kay Lee Ray has on the promotion.

“You’re only limited in wrestling by the creativity of those involved, and so when you’re working with someone in our case, you know, like, like Kay Lee Ray, who is.. she is a creator. She comes up with so many ideas and she’s always thinking, I can’t tell you how much it means to have Kay Lee Ray back in EVE. It’s like, she’s still living in the States, but we’re flying her in every single show because like Kay Lee Ray and EVE just works, just feels right. I’m not saying that like we didn’t do great work without her, but we certainly do better when she’s with us, because that’s just that it’s that would be that no matter the promotion, no matter what promotion Kay Lee Ray is a part of, you do better work when you have Kay Lee Ray in your locker room and you have a much better locker room as well.”
