Dann Read: Tony Khan And AEW Have Been Wonderful To Pro Wrestling EVE

Dann Read speaks on the growth of EVE and how Tony Khan and AEW have helped play a part in said growth.

Over the past couple of years, AEW stars have made a habit of appearing for Pro Wrestling EVE, a British women’s wrestling promotion where Will Ospreay plays a pivotal role in the promotions’ growth and creative.

While speaking to Fightful’s In The Weeds in a new interview, Pro Wrestling EVE’s Dann Read would speak on the growth of EVE, as well as how AEW have played a part in said growth.

“I mean, absolutely. Like, I know how it’s going to look and I know how people like, there’s going to be people that will twist how the things that I’ve said and how I come across and, you know, and I’ll be like, because, you know, there’s so much tribalism and agenda spending and everything along those lines, and I just try to, like, look at the facts as the facts are, and you said it there, and the facts are also that Tony and AEW have been wonderful to us. I cannot say enough good things about them. I cannot say enough and it’s true and the evidence is there. It’s just ignored if people deliberately choose to ignore it, that they care for the independent scene. They understand that wrestling does better where a rising tide raises all ships, and they understand that when the wrestling scene is hot, we all do well. The promotions, the wrestlers, the staff crew, we all do well when we’re all doing well, and the support of Tony Khan, AEW, Chris Harrington, I have to throw that name because he’s followed EVE for years, much prior to then. Wonderful, wonderful fellow.”
