Usually for male professional wrestlers, they wear several types of gear but usually are a variation of trunks or tights. However, some talent like Darby attempt to be unique and wrestle in their own kind of gear, which for Allin includes jean shorts and tights.
While speaking to Hey! (EW) in a new interview, Darby Allin was asked by RJ City why he doesn’t wear traditional wrestling gear, with Allin noting that he tried normal gear on before, and was not a fan of how he looked in the mirror.
“Dude, honestly, I don’t know. I tried on trunks and wrestling boots one time, and I looked at myself in the mirror and was like, ‘holy s***. This is-’ (makes cut throat gesture).”
