Darby Allin Explains Why TNT Title Win At All In Means More To Him Than AEW World Championship Win

Darby Allin opens up about the title win.

For the third time in his career, Darby Allin is the AEW TNT Champion. His latest title win happened at the 2026 All In pay-per-view, where he defeated Kevin Knight in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

After the event, Allin took to the post-show media scrum, and he explained why the TNT Title win means more to him than his AEW World Championship victory.

“Incredible,” Allin said about being TNT Champion again. “Incredible… When I finally found the championship and it gave me that footing — yeah, it feels incredible. I wouldn’t change a single thing. I don’t know. It sounds weird — sounds very strange — winning this meant more to me than the World Championship, and it sounds weird. It’s gonna sound so crazy. When I first won this, this is the first time I truly felt like I belonged in this company. So, it always brings me back to that insecure year one of AEW. ‘How am I gonna fit? Am I gonna even last in this?’ This gave me the confidence so I hold this so close.”

AEW President Tony Khan, who was seated next to Allin, said Allin’s comments were not weird at all considering the new champion’s history with the title.
