Darby Allin: I Think Tony Khan Was Super Stoked I Made It To The Summit Of Mount Everest Because It Would Have Been Really Bad For PR If I Died

Darby Allin jokes about the negative PR that would follow AEW if he failed to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

Earlier this year, Darby Allin would take on the incredibly tough challenge of climbing the largest mountain in the world, Mount Everest. Allin would succeed in his journey, planting an AEW flag on the top of the mountain for other climbers to see following their own journeys. Allin would also film a promo about Jon Moxley at the summit, footage that was used at AEW All In 2025.

While speaking to Hey! (EW) in a new interview, Darby spoke about Tony Khan approving him to go to Mount Everest.

“I think he was super stoked that I made it to the summit, because that would have been really bad for PR.”
