Darby Allin: I Want To Make Sure Sting's Career Ends With The Respect It Deserves, I'll Sacrifice Myself

Darby Allin previews Sting's last match.

At AEW Revolution on March 3, Sting will compete in his last match as he teams with Darby Allin to defend the AEW Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson). Sting has pulled out all stops since returning to the ring in 2021, going through tables and diving off balconies, and Darby wants to make sure Sting's last match lives up to the hype.

"It scares me," Darby told Tim & Eli on Battleground when asked about the weight of being in Sting's last match. "This is the very last match, there is nothing left to lose. I think someone might go to the hospital. It's going to be a wild fight. I know that I'll stop at nothing to make sure it's one of the most memorable matches that he's ever had. People are always going to remember this. If you crap the bed in the last match, people are always going to remember that. It's my mission statement to make sure that this man's career ends with the respect it deserves. If I have to sacrifice myself, so be it, a sacrifice must be made."

Sting has competed alongside Darby in all of his AEW matches since returning to the ring. The two men won the AEW Tag Team Championships on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite.
