Darby Allin Names Match With Bryan Danielson And Winning AEW World Title As Next Goals In Wrestling

Darby Allin says he needs to wrestle Bryan Danielson before Danielson retires.

Darby Allin is currently one-half of the AEW Tag Team Champions alongside Sting as Sting is getting ready to retire and have his final match at AEW Revolution on March 3.

Bryan Danielson is another wrestler who is getting ready to retire from full-time competition in 2024 and Darby Allin recently told Denise Salcedo that a match with Danielson and inevitably capturing the AEW World Title are his next major goals in wrestling, after he climbs Mount Everest, of course.

"So to be the face of a company, I believe you have to be World Champion," he began. "That is the next logical step when I get back from Everest because Everest is almost like a vision quest in a way. I'm going to go dig deep down inside the mountains and find out what it's really like inside of here.

"Outside of that, wrestling-wise, before this man's career is done, Danielson," he continued. "That's the next thing that — and it had nothing to do with us being from the northwest his work ethic. He's another man, his career was supposed to be over. He came back and he's better than ever. So, it's like, those are my two things that I want to hit in AEW."
