Darby Allin: Sting Has Nothing To Prove, But He Pushes The Boundaries Every Time He Wrestles

Since he joined AEW in 2020 at AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming, Sting has been aligned with Darby Allin.

His partnership with Darby got him back in the ring, first in cinematic fashion, and then in a more regular capacity. Every Sting match in AEW has involved Darby Allin.

Sting is set to wrap up his career at AEW Revolution 2024, and Darby is proud to be part of it.

“When I first got paired with Sting, I really did not know how it was gonna go,” Allin said while speaking to Blake Oestiecher of Forbes. “But to be a part of the final chapter of his career is super important because to me, in a story, the most important part of the story is the end...If you tarnish the end, everyone’s always going to remember that. He has gotten more hunger than a lot of the younger guys on the roster. He’s got nothing to prove, but he pushes the boundaries every time he wrestles.”

Sting & Allin will team with Adam Copeland at AEW Full Gear as they take on Nick Wayne, Luchasaurus & Christian Cage.
