Darby Allin is looking to make moves outside of pro wrestling.
It's no secret that Allin is an adrenaline junkie who has befriended the likes of Tony Hawk, Steve-O, Bam Margera, Travis Pastrana, and other extreme sports and skateboard legends. Allin has posted various videos of himself performing stunts on social media alongside the aforementioned names, with some airing on AEW Dynamite.
Appearing on Endless Hustle, Darby discussed a potential role in "Jackass 4" and why he'd miss AEW tapings to film it.
"The one event would be Jackass 4. I've talked to people and I'm like, 'If this happens, I have to have time off.' Not only is this going to help the brand of AEW and pop culture, it's going to help my mind. It's a bucket list thing, for sure," said Allin. "I've talked to Steve-O about it. Everything is so crazy with COVID that they can't even start filming. They were a week or two into filming when it got shut down and now they've been holding it off."
"Jackass 4" is scheduled to be released on September 3, 2021, though that could change given the unpredictable nature of COVID.
When asked if he had talked to anyone in Hollywood or had an agent handling commercial or television appearances, Darby said, "Not to that degree, yet. I wonder if COVID had a big thing to play out with that. Right when I was really starting to get my stride and stuff. I do have business managers that accept Comic-Con deals, but nothing like straight up commercials, but I would love to do it. I'm willing to go places no one will go. If I was in a commercial for someone, best believe I'll run someone over with a car."
Darby also noted that he would like to appear on Hot Ones at some point in the future.
