Darby Allin Would Want To See A Biopic On Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts
Darby Allin wants to see a Jake 'The Snake' Roberts biopic.
Darby Allin names a wrestling biopic he’d like to see made.
Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts has an incredibly up and down life and career in the world of professional wrestling. Having gotten sober and healthy in recent years thanks to Diamond Dallas Page, Jake ‘The Snake’ has truly turned his life around. So much so in fact that his story is legendary to the wrestlers of today, including AEW’s Darby Allin.
While speaking on My Mom’s Basement to Robbie Barstool, Darby was asked what wrestling biopic he would like to see made if he was given an unlimited budget for the project. Allin would note that he’d like to see one on Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, and if it were up to him, he would keep all of the good and the bad in the movie.
“Probably Jake the Snake. Yeah, I think the whole thing is really fascinating. I would do the whole career. Because I don’t want to just glorify the bad parts. You’ve got to also do the good parts, and I feel like everybody likes to glorify the worst. Like VH1 behind the music when it’s like, then everything went to hell.I just don’t want to be like, yo, let’s talk about the good stuff.”
Darby is currently scheduled to face off with Jon Moxley at AEW WrestleDream this coming weekend in an I Quit match. You can read more about that here.
