Dark Side Of The Ring 5/12 Viewership Second-Highest For The Season

This week's episode of Dark Side Of The Ring got a small bump in viewership.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the May 12 episode of Dark Side of the Ring, which focused on the Road Warriors, averaged 264,000 viewers. This is up from the May 5 episode on promoter Herb Abrams that averaged 246,000 viewers and up from the April 27 episode which focused on David Schultz and his assault of 20/20 reporter John Stossel that averaged 255,000 viewers.

In the 18-49 demographic, the special drew a 0.12 rating, which was 68th best on cable for the day and up from last week's 0.10 rating. The Dark Side: After Dark that aired afterwards did not crack the top 150 among cable telecasts in the 18-49 demographic.

This week's viewership number for Dark Side of the Ring was the second-highest for the season, behind the March 24 season premiere, a two-hour special on the Chris Benoit tragedy.

Next Tuesday's episode will focus on Owen Hart's death. Dark Side of the Ring airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Vice.
