DarkState Gangs Up On Je’Von Evans, Finishes On Top To Close 8/12 WWE NXT
The main event of the August 12 episode of WWE NXT was Moose, Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams vs. DarkState. DarkState is, of course, the rebellious foursome consisting of Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox, and Cutler James. Ultimately, it was the cohesion of DarkState that led to their victory.
Much like it was foretold in the prophetic, albeit questionably phrased, words of Cutler James, the group took turns beating Je’Von Evans’ ass and came out on top after utilizing their patented Pendulum Powerbomb. Trick Williams had the chance to save Evans. However, he ultimately chose to watch Evans, who is set to face him on the August 19 episode of WWE NXT, get taken advantage of by a four-on-one assault.

After the match, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger ran down into the squared circle and started attacking DarkState. Hank and Tank will defend the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships against a DarkState pairing to be determined at WWE NXT Heatwave. Check out the full card here.
