With Takeover: Orlando in the rear-view, some are wondering when the next big NXT show would be. They've been held only in conjunction with the "Big Four" PPVs since Takeover: The End last June, and the next "Big Four" show isn't until Summerslam in August. Some have felt that was a very long time to have to wait for another Takeover show. Those people may not have to worry much longer.
Triple H has just announced on this on his Twitter:
Before his announcement, it was noticed that Ticketmaster was listing NXT Takeover: Chicago on their website for Saturday, May 20th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
Of course, The Allstate Arena is also hosting WWE Backlash, a SmackDown PPV, on the following night, May 21st, so this might be signaling the start of a new trend of Takeovers being more frequent, taking place in conjunction with lesser Main Roster PPV events.
