The annual New Japan Cup tournament will be back for 2026. NJPW unveiled dates and locations for the entire tournament.

The final is scheduled to take place on March 21st in the city of Nagaoka. Below are the details:

• March 4th at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo
• March 5th at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo
• March 8th at Baycom Gymnasium in Hyogo
• March 10th at SHIGETO Arena in Okayama
• March 12th at Takamatsu City Gymnasium No. 1 in Kagawa
• March 13th at Kanaoka Park Gymnasium in Osaka
• March 14th at Nagoya Kinjo Futo Arena in Aichi
• March 15th at Aimesse Yamanashi in Kofu
• March 17th at Big Palette Fukushima in Koriyama
• March 20th at Aore Nagaoka Arena in Niigata
• March 21st at Aore Nagaoka Arena in Niigata

The winner of the New Japan Cup goes on to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. The 2025 winner of the tournament was David Finlay, and he defeated Shota Umino in the final.
