Dave Bautista (Batista) In Talks To Play Kratos In ‘God Of War’ Series
Batista might be gearing up for a huge role.
After a busy SummerSlam weekend, the wrestling world has a new piece of news to chew on. Deadline is reporting that Dave Bautista is in talks to replace Ryan Hurst as Kratos in Amazon MGM’s ‘God Of War’ show.
The studio made the decision to recast Hurst after he torn a bicep during a stunt back in June. Production on the show has been paused since.
Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television are getting a big-name replacement for the lead of their high-profile ‘God Of War’ drama series.
Dave Bautista is in negotiations to play Kratos in the adaptation of the popular PlayStation video game.

Deadline also notes that Batista is already bulked up for the role after the recent shoot of the new ‘Highlander’ movie, which will hit theaters in 2027 or 2028.
Aside from his potential inclusion in ‘God Of War’, Bautista’s other upcoming projects include ‘Roadhouse 2’, ‘Alpha Gang’, and ‘Ally’.
