Dave Bautista Wasn't Invited To Be Part Of SmackDown 1000

Don't expect to see Bautista at SmackDown 1000.

A fan commented on social media that he hopes Bautista will appear at the Oct. 16 celebration. Batista took notice of the tweet and told the fan to not get his hopes up.

Bautista has been very vocal about his desire to return to a WWE at some point. Earlier this month, he said he misses wrestling "daily." He thought he would return at WrestleMania 34 to team with Ronda Rousey, but WWE didn't return his messages and ended up going with Kurt Angle.

The Animal was last seen on WWE television in 2014. After feuding with Randy Orton leading into WrestleMania 30, the two reunited along with Triple H for one last run as Evolution.

SmackDown 1000 takes place on Oct. 16 from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. The show will air live on the USA Network.
