Big Dave is showing no mercy tomorrow.
Tomorrow at 2 PM EST live on the WWE Network will be the first-ever NXT U.K. TakeOver show from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England. One of many highly regraded matches on the card is the No-DQ bout between Eddie Dennis and "Bomber" Dave Mastiff. Mastiff and Dennis were both undefeated at one point until Mastiff beat Dennis and now they are running it back with no rules. Mastiff recently chatted with the 'Mirror' and went over a number of topics including what wrestling fans can expect to see from himself and Eddie Dennis at TakeOver.
"It just means that the parameters of what is legal in the match changes. It really boils down to who is willing to go as far as they can go and I will beat Eddie Dennis on Saturday." Dave said. "Eddie has shown what he is capable of, but obviously there is something a bit wrong with him in the way he handles himself. The fact that he thinks he can beat me in a no DQ match really just baffles me though if I'm honest. Expect this match to be hard hitting, ruthless, aggressive and damn right crazy."
The stars of the NXT U.K. brand will have the lights shining bright on them and are looking to add another great show to the TakeOver legacy. Mastiff stated that the NXT brand's TakeOver shows are always high on the bar and NXT U.K. will be looking to reach and raise that bar higher.
"I wouldn't use the word pressure, I would use the word inspiration." Mastiff clarified. "The guys and girls in the U.S. have set the bar really high and showed the world what they can do. This is our chance to show what we can do. I can't speak for everyone else, but there is a huge amount of confidence and we are looking to follow in the footsteps of the U.S. brand. Everyone knows how big of a deal it is and we are really buzzing to get going."
