David Finlay bested Tama Tonga at NJPW Wrestling Dontaku to win the NEVER Openweight Championship.
The finish saw Finlay hit Into Oblivion to score the victory.
After the bout, El Phantasmo, who was kicked out of Bullet Club by Finlay, returned and attacked the new NEVER Openweight Champion.
