David Otunga: I Think It’s A Travesty If John Cena Retires Without The Nexus Coming Back To Whoop His Ass

David Otunga wants the Nexus to make history.

As of publish time, John Cena has six appearances left before he officially retires from the world of professional wrestling. Fans have been speculating on who Cena could be facing during his final matches, including but not limited to names like Gunther, Bron Breakker, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, or even Roman Reigns.

Speaking with the F Y’all Podcast for a new interview, David Otunga threw out a potential idea for Cena’s final days, saying that the Nexus should return and whoop his ass one last time.

“To be honest with you, I think it’s a travesty if he retires without the Nexus coming back to whoop his ass. I think that’s what should happen. All of the sudden, who’s coming through the crowd, who pops up on the ring? Boom, it’s payback. It’s your receipt. Our receipt.”

Cena is set to face Brock Lesnar at WWE Wrestlepalooza. Fans can check out the rest of the show’s lineup by clicking here.
