David Otunga Says There’s A Nexus Group Chat With Every Member Except Bryan Danielson

David Otunga shares that there is a Nexus group chat.

The Nexus was a faction that came about following the first season of NXT, where the competitors would unite to form a faction and attacked John Cena and other top stars in 2010. The faction would begin to fall apart after a big win at SummerSlam that year, but to this day, the faction members stay close. Well, close enough to remain in the same group chat together.

While speaking on Insight With Chris Van Vliet, David Otunga was asked about a potential Nexus reunion.

“I mean, there is, somebody just has to call for it. We still have a group thread. We still talk. We have a Nexus group chat.” 

Otunga was then asked who all is in the group chat.

“Everybody but Daniel Bryan. I mean, he turned on us at SummerSlam. Everybody else is in it. We’re all for one. You’re either Nexus or against us. But in all seriousness, we went through a lot together. We knew each other in FCW, became friends, and then started on the road together, went through NXT, we formed real friendships. Also, it was nerve-wracking and stressful, and we were rookies, we’re in a class together, we felt like we were being hazed and whatnot. But going through all that together, it makes you bond.”
