David Sahadi Confirms That Majority Of IMPACT Wrestling’s Post-Production Team In 2019 Left For AEW, Gave Scott D’Amore Five Days’ Notice
IMPACT’s production team jumped to AEW.
Beyond The Lens rolled out an extensive chat with multimedia producer David Sahadi. Sahadi put in a combined 20 years with IMPACT/TNA Wrestling.
He recounted back in 2019 when the majority of IMPACT’s post-production team left the promotion to join All Elite Wrestling. He added that they gave former company President Scott D’Amore five days’ notice. At the time, the news of the departures had been reported by POST Wrestling’s John Pollock and SEScoops.
“Then AEW came around and in October of 2019 came the mass exodus. That is when the entire post-production team of IMPACT, except for Eric Tompkins who’s the head right now, and Kenny Smith who I taught how to direct who’s directing the shows right now. Everybody left to join AEW and gave Scott D’Amore a five-day notice.”
Sahadi was let go from TNA Wrestling in 2024. He opened up about his firing, and his comments can be read here.
