Dax Harwood talks "heat" with Bobby Fish.
On an August episode of his Undisputed podcast, Bobby Fish revealed that he "got into it" with Dax Harwood, but at the end of the day, they were professional about things.
Speaking on his FTR podcast with Matt Koon, Harwood gave his side of things.
"I was never going to let this be known, but Bobby did an interview about it, and that's okay. He and I get along great. Before this and after this, we got along great. We talk about families, his marriage, real estate investments, we get along great. I preface that before anybody finds a headline. There was an issue he and I had on live TV where I felt he was taking advantage of me and things got very very very heated on stage and I accidentally, well, not accidentally, I punched Kyle (O'Reilly) because I thought Kyle was getting involved as well. We got to the back, we had to be separated, but 30 minutes later, we apologized, we hugged, things were good," said Dax.
Fish has spoken about his issues with CM Punk, even going as far as to challenge Punk to a combat sports fight.
Fish and CM Punk wrestled on the October 27, 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite with Punk picking up the victory. Punk won with his trademark GTS, though Fish kicked out at 3.1, leading to some confusion as to whether or not the match was over.
Speaking about the GTS incident, Harwood said, "As far as the kickout goes, I have taken many pins in my career, and I have got the squeeze, and the squeeze, to me, means 'thank you.' That's what I think and that's what I was taught. Maybe Bobby was taught differently, I don't know. Those are my feelings on Bobby. great guy to me, we get along personally, we had a little flare up where we threw hands, got over it like men do, and moved on."
After reiterating that he was taught "the squeeze" means thank you in his training, Dax stated, "To be fair, the squeeze means a lot of different things. I would just never take it as a kick out."
