Dax Harwood Says They Wanted Britt Baker Or Serena Deeb In The Pinnacle

When The Pinnacle aligned in AEW in March 2021, the talent involved formed a super group of sorts with MJF, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler), Wardlow, and Shawn Spears coming together under the guidance of Tully Blanchard.

The group drew immediate comparisons to the Four Horsemen with a talent at every level of the card and a legendary manager by their side.

However, the group was missing a female presence, but according to Dax, there were talks of adding a female to The Pinnacle.

"We really wanted Britt, and there were talks of Britt being in the group, but Britt is a standalone star, no one needs to mess with her, she's great. The other one that I really wanted and talk to Tony (Khan) about, he was pretty excited and had the idea, was Serena Deeb. Up until that point, she had been a babyface, but I thought she really fit what the Pinnacle was, especially Cash and myself, just an incredible wrestler who is considered a badass among the women. Those are the two, and the closest was probably Serena Deeb," Dax said on his FTR with Dax and Matt Koon podcast.

A female was never added to the Pinnacle and group disbanded roughly a year after forming.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Dax explained why the group was DOA. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
