DDT Universal Championship Match Added To 10/17 NJPW Show

The DDT Universal Title will be on the line.

Coming up on October 17th, New Japan Pro-Wrestling will be presenting a show at Taichi’s old middle school.

A new match has been added to the show lineup, as Dick Togo will challenge Ryusuke Taguchi for the DDT Universal Championship. The winner of that bout will head to DDT’s October 18th show the following day to defend the belt against Akito.

As of this writing, the lineup for the 10/17 NJPW event is listed as follows:

• Taichi & TBA vs. Naomichi Marufuji & TBA
• DDT Universal Championship: Ryusuke Taguchi (c) vs. Dick Togo
