DDT’s Masahiro Takanashi Discharged From Hospital After Completing Inpatient Treatment & Rehabilitation Period

An official update on Takanashi.
It was in March that Masahiro Takanashi suffered cervical vertebrae C5 and C6 fractures when he took a ‘Praying Mantis Bomb’ during a match in DDT Pro-Wrestling. He has since undergone neck and spinal surgery and has been recovering.
An update on his recovery was sent out by DDT. Takanashi has been discharged from the hospital as he’s completed his treatment. DDT posted the following, which includes a message from Takanashi himself:

Regarding Masahiro Takanashi, who has been recovering from a neck injury, we are pleased to announce that he has completed his inpatient treatment and rehabilitation period at a specialized rehabilitation hospital and has been discharged.
He is currently continuing his rehabilitation as an outpatient from his home.Consequently, the sale of goods through the “Masa Takanashi Merchandise Online Store,” which has been supported by everyone, will conclude with the December shipment, in accordance with his wishes. The following is a message from Masa to his fans.

Takanashi has been with DDT since 2013. He’s been wrestling for 22 years.
