Delmi Exo won the wXw Women's Championship at MLW Never Say Never, defeating Ava Everett in a title vs. title bout. Exo's MLW Women's Featherweight Title was on the line as well.

Exo won the MLW Women's Featherweight Title on April 6, though the match didn't air until the June 15 episode of MLW Fusion. This marked her second title defense. Everett won the wXw Women's Championship on April 22. She made seven defenses of the title.
