Deonna Purrazzo Wants To Team With Britt Baker And The Renegade Twins In AEW

Deonna Purrazzo wants to make tag team magic in AEW.

The company’s women’s tag division is currently stacked with duos like Willow Nightingale/Harley Cameron, Megan Bayne/Lena Kross, Toni Storm/Mina Shirakawa, and Julia Hart/Skye Blue.

In a new interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Deonna Purrazzo was asked to name some potential partners if she ever were to pursue tag team action.

“I love the whole concept of Vendetta so much. But I think another natural answer, and she’s not on TV right now, is Britt Baker. I think there’s so much history naturally between the two of us that you don’t necessarily need to produce the vignettes for people to understand. I think another person, this is kind of out of left field, but the Renegade Twins. I like to say that they’re my younger sisters because if you look at me and Charlette we actually look more alike than her and Robin do.”

Speaking about the Renegade Twins, Purrazzo noted that she tried to get TNA to sign the duo a few years ago.

“I love them. I think that when the world gets to see them as a full package, because I wanted them to come into TNA back when I was still there and we had the tag division. They had a tryout in Atlanta and I was begging, ‘Sign them, sign them, sign them.’ Literally weeks later, they were signed at AEW. So I just am excited to see what their future holds. But I also claim them as my younger sisters.”
