Back on May 1st at AAA's Rey de Reyes event, Deonna Purrazzo made an appearance and challenged the new Reina de Reinas Champion, Faby Apache, to a Title vs. Title match at Triplemania.
Tonight at Triplemania XXIX, Deonna and Faby had a back and forth match, but The Virtuosa was aided by the referee, who on numerous occasions turned a blind eye on interference, helped her to rope breaks, and gave her fast counts. Purrazzo would eventually lock in the Venus de Milo and get Apache to tap out.
There was a skirmish after the bell, but Faby was unable to get her hands on the referee as he ran away.
With her victory, Deonna Purrazzo now holds the IMPACT Knockouts Championship and AAA Reina De Reinas Championship.
The Virtuosa is just the 17th woman to hold the title since its introduction in 1999.

Deonna is scheduled for more inter-promotional competition this month when she defends her Knockouts Championship against Melina at NWA EmPowerrr on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
