The road to NXT U.K. TakeOver is getting shorter.
On January 12th NXT U.K. TakeOver: Blackpool will stream live on the WWE Network from the 'Empress Ballroom' in Blackpool, England. Next week's show adds to the build to the U.K. super-show and there will be two new episodes of NXT U.K. next week as there has been for the past month.
During the 3 PM EST block, it is listed that Johnny Saint is making a big announcement and that announcement will be the NXT U.K. TakeOver show and within that segment, Toni Storm will challenge Rhea Ripley to a match for the NXT U.K. Women's Championship at TakeOver: Blackpool. The 4 PM EST block notes that the NXT U.K. Women's Champion Rhea Ripley will be defending her title against NXT talent and Fightful alum Deonna Purrazzo, and Eddie Dennis sends a message to "Bomber" Dave Mastiff before their NO-DQ match at TakeOver.
