Deonna Purrazzo Pitched Doing A Texas Bull Rope Match In TNA, Feels AEW Could Host Many First-Ever Stipulation Matches

Donna Purrazzo believes there are still so many history-making moments to be seen in women's wrestling and thinks AEW can be the epicenter.

Donna Purrazzo has been a part of many history-making moments on the TNA Wrestling roster, including the first-ever TNA women's main event of a pay-per-view. However, she believes there are even more first-time-ever moments to be seen and there are even things she pitched while in TNA that did not go through.

Speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri of SHAK Wrestling, Purrazzo discussed realistic dream matches and opportunities for herself within the next year on AEW programming. She cited Mercedes Mone, Skye Blue, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale as opponents she would like to face.

"Opponent-wise, I feel like there's so many, and there's so many matches between women on a roster that I've never had before. I've never wrestled Kris Statlander before," she began. "It's been a really long time since I've wrestled Skye Blue. It's been a really long time, years and years since I've wrestled Willow Nightingale. So those are just two people off the top of my head. We've seen Mercedes Mone become the TBS Champion, so a shot at that championship is something that I'd be game for.

She also says she wants to have a Submission Match and reflected on pitching a Texas Bull Rope Match while in TNA. Overall, Purrazzo believes that there is still a lot of uncharted territory in women's wrestling that AEW can capitalize on.

"In terms of a stipulation, I feel like a Submission Match is right up my alley. So that is always my number one. I feel like maybe me and Thunder Rosa are gearing up towards that. I could see a stipulation for the rubber match between us and I feel like a Two out of Three Falls is cool," she said. "I feel like I had pitched, years and years ago in TNA, to do a Texas Bull Rope Match or something like that. So yeah, there's a lot of really cool stipulations that women have yet to do across all pro wrestling that I feel like could make a really cool first-time-ever for AEW."

Thunder Rosa and Deonna will, in fact, have a stipulation bout for their rubber match as they face off in a No DQ fight on the June 15 episode of AEW Saturday Collision.
