Deontay Wilder scored a split decision victory over Derek Chisora on Saturday, winning 115-111, 112-115, 115-113 on the cards.
In the eighth round, Wilder scored a knockdown on Chisora after a series of heavy haymakers.
As Chisora tried to compose himself and back into the corner, Wilder stalked him down. Before unloading with a right hand, Wilder was seen telling Chisora, “I’m sorry, I love you.”
Wilder then dropped Chisora with a couple of punches.
