Tribute to the Troops has been a WWE holiday tradition for 15 years now.
A report from PWInsider has revealed the details for this year’s taping of the special event. It will take place on Friday 12/6 in Fayetteville, North Carolina at the Crown Coliseum. This will be a special dual event. That week's SmackDown will be held on the same day in the same venue. Tickets will be available next Friday, October 25, 2019.
In recent years, the event has been shown on the USA Network as part of WWE Week for the holidays, which also typically included Monday Night Raw, SmackDown, and at times a year-in-retrospect style of show. This year, SmackDown will be replaced by NXT as the black and gold brand is now on the USA Network every week.
Locally advertised Superstars include Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, The New Day, Braun Strowman, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Shinsuke Nakamura, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, King Corbin, and more. Tribute to the Troops always includes stars from all WWE brands, so big names from Monday Night Raw like Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Bobbby, Lashley, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch are sure to be added & advertised as the event draws near.
